Pars legends Roy Barry and Ian Westwater launching “Full Time”

Get along to Waterstones in the Kingsgate Centre, on Saturday 4 March, between 11.00am and 1:30pm, and meet some Pars legends at a book-signing event for “Full Time”, the Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust’s cookbook. 

Proceeds raised will go to the Heritage Trust, and this will help to pay for a series of Boards illustrating the history of DAFC in both the South and the Norrie McCathie stands at East End Park.

We expect to have a large number of current players and ex-players coming along.  Famous ex-Pars such as Roy Barry, Bert Paton and Bonar Mercer will be in attendance, as well as current players before they report to East End Park at 1 pm. They will be happy to sign the recipe book — price £10 — and chat about Pars memories.

The book itself contains 30 recipes, and a whole bunch of Pars history, including:

Roy Barry’s Filo-topped Fish Pie
Bert Paton’s Strawberry Shortcake
Bonar Mercer’s Goan Fish Curry
Callum Fordyce’s Lasagna al Fordyce
Joe Cardle’s Chicken Pie
Sir Alex Ferguson’s Grilled Sea Bass with Fettucine and Ratatouille Sauce
